October 31, 2011 – Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson has appointed Cheryl Lobell as a partner in its New York office serving life science and healthcare clients. She will also be a member of the firm’s human resources functional practice. Ms. Lobell, who is currently with Odgers Berndtson's office in Singapore, will relocate to the U.S. next month to assist domestic clients, as well as multinationals with global leadership challenges, build more effective management teams through executive recruitment and leadership advisory consulting services. "Cheryl has the requisite deep sector insights, unparalleled industry relationships, experience, and strong, successful track record as an executive recruiter to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our U.S. Healthcare and Life Science practices," said Steve Potter, managing partner for Odgers Berndtson's U.S. operations. "Her return to the U.S. will be a significant asset to the firm and to our clients, and we look forward to having her join our New York team." Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Ms. Lobell held a variety of key senior human resource roles with Colgate-Palmolive, Astra Zeneca, and most recently, with Standard Chartered Bank, where she was the group head of HR for risk.
