Odgers Berndtson Expands Financial Services Practice
October 20, 2011 – Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson has added Glenn Stevens and Rachel Schultz in New York as partners in the financial services practice. Mr. Stevens will focus on client assignments within investment banking, alternative investments, asset management, and capital markets; he will provide similar services for clients within the firm's sports practice. Mr. Stevens was previously managing director at The Gerson Group, a boutique executive recruitment firm serving the financial services sector. Ms. Schultz will provide executive search and advisory services to Wall Street; she will work primarily with clients and candidates engaged in investment banking, capital markets, and alternative asset management. Ms. Schultz was a director and founding member of The Gerson Group. "Glenn and Rachel will be tremendous assets to the financial services practice and, of course, to the myriad clients and candidates with whom we work, both here and abroad," said Steve Potter, managing partner for Odgers Berndtson's U.S. operations. "They have the demonstrated industry insights and specialized sector expertise to help financial companies identify their leadership gaps, and then retain and develop executives with the requisite leadership skills, operational expertise, finance acumen, and creative vision to navigate their organizations through the current market turmoil."
