Odgers Berndtson Adds to Insurance Practice

September 11, 2011 – Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson has added Brian Schnepff to the firm's insurance practice as a partner based in its Chicago office. Mr. Schnepff will provide senior-level executive search and related advisory services to clients within the insurance and retirement services sectors. In addition to conducting searches for front office executive-level roles, Mr. Schnepff will conduct functional and business-line leadership searches, including those for heads of risk management, strategy, actuarial, underwriting, product management, marketing, sales and distribution, operations infrastructure, technology and finance, among others. Odgers Berndtson Adds To Insurance Practice

September 10, 2011 – Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson has added Pat Corey and Paul Hanson in Chicago as partners in its insurance practice. Messrs. Corey and Hanson previously worked together with Steve Potter, managing partner for Odgers’ U.S. business, and David Gabriel, who leads its technology, information & communication, and media & entertainment practices. In addition to conducting client engagements, Mr. Corey will also head the firm's U.S. insurance practice. Prior to joining Odgers, he was a senior client partner in the insurance and financial services practice at Korn/Ferry International. Mr. Hanson will be responsible for helping clients identify and recruit leaders for executive roles such as CEO, chief operating officer, and president, as well as for overseeing searches specific to the heads of critical business functions, including technology, marketing/distribution, actuary, legal/risk, and finance. He will also work on search assignments for chief human resources officers and senior-level HR-related positions for non-insurance clients within the firm's financial services practice. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Mr. Hanson was a consultant at Heidrick & Struggles, where he specialized in insurance-focused searches with a particular emphasis on the life, annuity, health, and property and casualty businesses.
