Norman Broadbent Chairman Steps Down

June 2, 2015 – Pierce Casey, chairman and director of U.K.-headquartered executive recruiter Norman Broadbent, has informed the company of his intention to retire from his post at the end of June. Scanes Bently is joining as a director of the company with immediate effect as non-executive chairman elect. Mr. Bentley is a non-executive chairman, non-executive director and strategic advisor to a number of businesses and most recently was a partner for 12 years at management consulting group Accenture PLC, where in the last five years he was responsible for running the firm’s financial services and TMT consulting practices in London.

Mr. Casey has served as chairman since June 2010. He is currently chairman of Adelaide Capital Ltd, which identifies and manages a range of passive, private investments, public company portfolios and direct real estate investments.

Mr. Casey said he and the board have been in talks with Mr. Bentley “for some time” in order to achieve a “seamless handover.”

Also leaving Norman Broadbent is non-executive director Bruce Lakefield, who retired in March, and Jan Cameron who sat on the board as well as leading the company’s internal HR function, who left in April.

As a provider of executive search and leadership consultancy services, Norman Broadbent operates at the senior end of leadership and talent identification at the board level. The firm focuses on executive search, leadership consulting, senior interim management.
