MIXTEC Group CEO Retires; Successor Named

June 19, 2014 – Executive search firm MIXTEC Group has said that its longtime president and CEO Chris Nelson is retiring. Effective later this month, Jerry Butt will be the new president and CEO of the Glendale, CA-based firm; Mr. Nelson will continue to have an active role at Mixtec Group as a strategic advisor. Mr. Butt has over 14 years of executive search experience with the firm and has been serving as vice president and senior partner. “We have been working on a succession plan for some time,” said Mr. Nelson. “I can’t think of a better time to step back. Mixtec Group celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and is enjoying its best years ever.
