June 11, 2013 – Irvine, CA-based McDermott & Bull has added Scott K. Meyer as principal consultant. Mr. Meyer will be responsible for assisting in the expansion of McDermott & Bull’s consumer products and private equity practices. “We’re delighted to bring Scott’s world-class consumer products background and general management experience on board to McDermott & Bull,” said Chris Bull, one of the managing partners with the firm. “Scott’s knowledge of the consumer package goods and consumer durables markets, combined with his hands-on executive experience in both publicly traded and privately held companies, will provide our clients with insight into their talent acquisition needs.” The first 20 years of Mr. Meyer’s career were in consumer package goods brand management with Johnson & Johnson and Gillette, working on global brands such as Tylenol, Splenda, Oral-B, and Braun. He subsequently assumed general management positions at consumer durables companies as president/CEO at T-Fal/WearEver, chief marketing officer and VP/general manager at private equity portfolio company American Standard Brands, and president – North America at Breville. McDermott & Bull serves both public and privately held clients in the technology, financial services, manufacturing, bio-tech and life science, retail, professional services sectors.
