ManpowerGroup Posts Small Revenue Decline
February 1, 2015 – ManpowerGroup/(NYSE:MAN)posted revenues of $5.1 billion for the fourth quarter ended December 2014, a decrease of two percent from $5.3 billion a year earlier. The Milwaukee-based company’s earnings jumped to $117.2 million, or $1.47 per share, in the quarter from $101.2 million, or $1.25 per share, a year ago. Annual revenue increased slightly to $20.8 billion from $20.3 billion. Full-year net income was $427.6 million, or $5.30 per share, up from $288 million, or $3.62 per share, in the prior year. Jonas Prising, ManpowerGroup CEO, said: “We are pleased with our results in the fourth quarter, capping off a year of very good financial performance and margin expansion, continued progress on our strategic initiatives and leadership in workforce solutions.
