Korn Ferry Appoints President for the Americas

December 22, 2013 – Korn Ferry has appointed Doug Charles as president of the Americas. He will be based out the firm’s Reston office and report to CEO Gary Burnison. Previously, Mr. Charles spent 15 years with Capgemini in a number of executive roles, including leading the North American National Industry Groups and president of Capgemini's Government Solutions business. He also served five years at SAIC, where he led the Commercial Business Services global business unit. "Doug is a global leader with a proven career path of significantly growing complex professional services businesses," said Mr. Burnison. "We are at an exciting time in transforming our firm. Doug has the right skill set, is a great cultural fit and has both the vision and the acumen to help us accelerate our trajectory as we assist clients in maximizing their talent as a competitive advantage." Mr. Charles will succeed Bob Damon in the role of president as Mr. Damon is promoted to executive chairman for the Americas.
