Knightsbridge Eyes U.S. Expansion, Names President

May 2, 2014 – Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions has appointed Stuart Kaplan as president of Knightsbridge USA. Mr. Kaplan comes to the firm from Korn Ferry, where he was global chief operating officer of Leadership & Talent Consulting. He will be based in Chicago and responsible for leading the expansion of Knightsbridge USA’s integrated talent and leadership solutions business. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kaplan spent more than a decade at Accenture in a variety of management consulting roles focused on business and human capital strategy development for Fortune 500 clients. “Stuart Kaplan is a tremendous addition to Knightsbridge,” said David Shaw, the firm’s founder and CEO. “He brings unparalleled expertise, experience and relationships, combined with a shared understanding of the critical importance of leadership accountability and human capital management for executing business strategy and driving sustainable performance improvement.” Based on his 22 years at PepsiCo and his experience as president and CEO of Pepsi Cola Canada Beverages, Mr. Shaw founded Knightsbridge in 2001 with the acquisition of KPMG's Career Consulting business. Nine subsequent acquisitions have brought together expertise in four areas critical to delivering human capital management solutions: executive search & recruitment, leadership & talent development, career management and workforce management. Today, Knightsbridge provides assessment and coaching, talent attraction, organizational and leadership development, as well as career management and transition services to a wide array of industries across North America, the U.K. and Australia. The firm currently has one U.S. office and plans to add three search partners this year; it has 40 U.S.-based human capital and leadership strategy consultants who contribute 25 percent to the firm's global revenue stream.
