K. Fehling & Associates Opens Office in San Francisco
November 1, 2010 – Executive search firm K. Fehling & Associates (KFA) has opened a new office in San Francisco and named Lori Christiansen as biotech practice leader and Mary Letteriias as a senior associate. From 1999 until 2009, Ms. Christiansen served as vice president of a San Francisco-based search firm BioQuest, LLC. She has recruited numerous VP and C-level executives for life science companies. Her client and candidate networks span startup to mature private and public companies in molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine, biopharma, medical devices, platform technologies and venture capital. In 2009, Ms. Christiansen co-founded Woman Capital Connect, a venture dedicated to increasing the number of women in C-level, vice president and board positions within the life science, healthcare, technology and energy industries. With more than 17 years experience assisting start ups and larger organizations successfully meet their recruiting needs, Ms. Letteriias’ expertise includes retained executive search and staffing management, as well as in-house corporate recruiting, with significant emphasis in the biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostics sectors. She began her career with Heidrick & Struggles and was previously a consultant with BioQuest. K.
