inQuest Consultores Merges with The ExeQfind Group

June 9, 2021 – Santiago, Chile-based inQuest Consultores has merged with Atlanta-based The ExeQfind Group. Launched in 2002, inQuest serves both the professional and technical recruitment space as well as retained executive search in both Chile and other countries within Latin America. The merger leverages almost a decade of collaboration between inQuest and both The QualiFind Group and The ExeQfind Group (The ExeQfind Group’s sister practice) and further strengthens our capacity to serve clients from North America to South America. The new team members in Chile will join the team in Mexico and Brazil in expanding its sector expertise, recruiting bench strength, and cultural fluency across Latin America.

“Boutique recruiting firms are well positioned to provide talent acquisition services across the geography of Latin America,” said Mariela Brasca, senior recruiter at inQuest. “Over the past 20 years, we evolved our recruiting practice similarly to what The QualiFind Group and The ExeQfind Group have done. Given the relatively smaller market segment versus that of North America, we developed our practice to provide both professional and technical recruitment as well as having search consultants that can serve the executive segment of the talent market.”

“We have worked with Carlos Acosta (senior managing partner of The QualiFind Group) and Warren Carter (senior managing partner of The ExeQfind Group) which earned our mutual respect, our trust, and shared values that have made this merger possible,” Ms. Brasca said. “Together we are gaining a larger footprint which will benefit our clients in Latin America in many ways from the expanded strategic resources and expertise to the ability to access hidden talent across Latin America.”

“Having Pia and Isabel as new partners along with the expanded capacity to serve our clients across the Americas is already proving beneficial,” Mr. Acosta said. “Coincidentally, a few days after establishing this merger we were engaged by a long term client in need of establishing a salesforce across Latin America. The timing proved perfect to get our new team onboard to serve this client serving the industrial market,” he said. “It has been a pleasure to collaborate with Pia and Isabel during the past decade and I’m confident we are now on to providing a more seamless service to our clients across Latin America.”

“I look forward to working with Mariela Brasca in the same way we have partnered with The QualiFind Group team in the U.S., Canada and Mexico,” said Sao Paulo-based Fabiana Zanini, senior consultant at The QualiFind Group. “Our recruitment clients in Latin America appreciate us as a highly competent and culturally diverse recruiting firm.”

Recent Growth

Last year, The ExeQfind Group added Hamilton Teixeira and his Sao Paulo-based recruiting firm DRH Talent Search. “Adding localized expertise in Brazil served to reinforce our capabilities to serve both Mexico and Brazil as well as other parts of Latin America,” said Mr. Carter. “Many multinationals have integrated operations in both of Latin America’s largest countries, Mexico and Brazil, and Warren and Hamilton had collaborated extensively for more than 10 years which contributed to the trust and relationship leading up to that merger.”

Virtually the same can be said for the relationship between ExeQfind and Madison MacArthur leading to Sylvia MacArthur becoming a third managing partner in The ExeQfind Group, Mr. Carter said. “Both Warren and Sylvia had collaborated extensively with each other since 2008. The Toronto and New York presence leading up to this ongoing merger gave us geographic reach, localized expertise, cultural fluency and relationships in key Canadian markets and those segments that are integrated in the U.S. and Latin America,” he added.

The ExeQfind Group and The QualiFind Group Merge Brazil-Based DRH–Talent Search Into Search Platform

The ExeQfind Group, based in Atlanta and The QualiFind Group, based in San Diego, have recently merged DRH–Talent Search, a retained executive search firm located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, into its search and recruitment platform serving the Americas. Hamilton Teixeira, an accomplished retained executive search and marketing-oriented executive leader, owned and led the Brazilian firm for over 18 years.

ExeQfind, QualiFind and Madison MacArthur all serve the mid-management to executive-level talent market while QualiFind serves the specialist to professional-level segments.

“The global pandemic – as well as a global economy that has been in transition – have combined to create unparalleled disruption,” said Mr. Carter. “We see that disruption as presenting unparalleled opportunities. William Pollard once said, ‘Learning and innovation go hand in hand. The arrogance of success is to think that what you did yesterday will be sufficient for tomorrow.’ As a boutique firm we have to be nimble and adaptable to the constant change we see before us.”
