Infor’s Talent Management System Implemented by Denver Public Schools

March 28, 2013 – Infor, a provider of business application software, and Ciber, a global information technology consulting company, have announced that Denver Public Schools (DPS) in Denver, Colo., has become one of the first school districts in the nation to use Infor for talent management. The Ciber-led implementation is intended to support the district’s 2010 Denver Plan, which calls for putting students first by finding and retaining the most qualified teachers for every classroom. As outlined in the plan, the talent management suite supports one of the district’s top-line goals: strategic management of human resources. “The new Infor software dramatically modernizes our back-end systems and sets the stage for the district to achieve its long-term goal of hiring great people to deliver great results,” said Shayne Spalten, DPS chief HR officer. “Ciber has worked with us to understand the unique requirements of K-12 school operating environments and helped design a system to truly meet our needs.”
