Herbert Mines Associates Names Managing Director

January 20, 2011 – New York-based executive search firm Herbert Mines Associates has appointed Alison Weil as a managing director. Ms. Weil, who specializes in recruiting senior executives for consumer products, retail and luxury businesses, joined the firm in 2007 and was named vice president in 2008. The announcement was made today by Hal Reiter, chairman and CEO. Prior to joining HMA, Ms. Weil was a principal at Heidrick & Struggles, where she spent seven years within the consumer, marketing and private equity practices. Founded in 1978, Herbert Mines focuses exclusively senior-level search assignment in the retail, consumer products, fashion/apparel, e-commerce and foodservice industries.
