Heidrick & Struggles Names New Practice Heads

February 13, 2026 – Executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping services provider Heidrick & Struggles has named Alexis Hennessy as global head of the sales & commercial officers practice as well as Fabrice Lebecq and Seth Steinberg as the new co-global heads of the supply chain officers & operations officers practice.

Ms. Hennessy is a partner in Heidrick’s Los Angeles office. She is the global managing partner of the venture capital practice and a member of the global technology practice. Ms. Hennessy focuses on recruiting customer-facing and go-to-market executives within the software sector. Her placements include COOs and CEOs, heads of sales, and post-sales, which includes customer success, support, and services. She works with clients in various stages of growth, including venture capital—and private equity-backed companies and Fortune 500 companies.

Before joining Heidrick, Ms. Hennessy spent more than five years with boutique retained executive search firms catering to private equity funds and private equity-backed portfolio companies. While at these boutiques, she mainly focused on recruiting C-level executives to technology and tech-enabled business services companies and was responsible for marketing, business development, and strategic alliances.

Mr. Lebecq is a partner in Heidrick’s Brussels office. Previously, he was the regional managing partner of the industrial practice in Europe and Africa. An advisor to C-suites and boards, Mr. Lebecq focuses on senior-level appointments and leadership advisory engagements for corporate and private equity clients across Europe. He has over 30 years of international experience in the industrial space, with a spike in process industries, including chemicals, packaging, building materials, food & feed ingredients, plastics, steel, and other materials-related sectors.

Mr. Lebecq joined Heidrick & Struggles from Russell Reynolds Associates, where he led the European chemicals, materials & packaging practice for seven years. Previously, he spent nearly 20 years in the chemical industry at Dow Corning, Honeywell, and DSM.

Mr. Steinberg is a partner in Heidrick’s Miami office. He specializes in complex supply chain, procurement, and operations leadership roles for large multinational organizations, as well as for startups and private equity-backed businesses across a range of industries, often in transformation, scale, or succession contexts. Mr. Steinberg has wide cross-sector experience spanning industrials, technology, consumer, healthcare, and life sciences sectors.

Mr. Steinberg also worked closely with the firm’s advisory team on leadership consulting projects and thought leadership.

Take-Private Transaction

In December, Heidrick completed its previously announced transaction to become a privately held company through the acquisition by a consortium of investors led by Advent International, and Corvex Private Equity, with support from a global network of prominent strategic investors including Salem Capital Management, Mousse Partners, TF Cornerstone, HighSage Ventures, and Barcliff Partners.

Valued at approximately $1.3 billion, the transaction creates a foundation for Heidrick & Struggles to execute an ambitious multi-year growth strategy. The move marks one of the most consequential transformations in the firm’s 70-year history, positioning it to further scale and accelerate its ability to develop differentiated, deep and durable global client relationships. “Heidrick & Struggles will continue to operate under its current brand and remains deeply committed to helping organizations build thriving leadership teams,” the firm said in a statement.

“This marks a pivotal milestone for Heidrick & Struggles,” said Tom Monahan, CEO of Heidrick. “With the support of Advent International, Corvex Private Equity, a distinguished network of long-term investors, and substantial investment from Heidrick & Struggles partners and leaders, we will be positioned to create even more value for our clients and our colleagues. This new platform will allow us to strengthen our world-class search business and the critical advisory and talent solutions our clients rely on. I’m grateful to our outgoing board for their leadership and for positioning us for long-term success. For our clients and our people, our commitment and day-to-day operations remain unchanged.”
