Heidrick & Struggles Hires Venture Capital Head

August 10, 2010 – Chicago-based executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International has added Jeff Markowitz as managing partner of its global venture capital practice. As head of the specialized venture capital practice, Mr. Markowitz will be responsible for senior-level searches within all areas of venture capital with particular emphasis on the technology sector. He was most recently a partner and member of the executive committee at a national recruiting firm. While there, he both started and built that firm’s Silicon Valley office into a leading search practice serving the venture capital industry nationally.
