Hays plc Opens in Moscow

June 18, 2009 – Global recruitment company Hays plc has opened an office in Moscow (Hays Russia) and named Alexey Shteingardt as managing director. Mr. Shteingardt previously served as a business director for executive search recruitment consultancies Alexander Hughes and Brianpower. In his new role, Mr. Shteingardt will lead a team of consultants who will focus on delivering permanent staffing solutions for professional, technical and administrative roles in accountancy & finance, pharmaceuticals, IT and telecoms, engineering, HR, legal, and sales & marketing. In addition, Hays is also launching Hays Executive in Russia to focus on senior managers and board director positions. “We view Russia as a market with immense long-term potential and our entry into this market is an important step in our continued strategy of establishing operations in growth economies,” said Nick Cox, managing director of Continental Europe & Rest of World at Hays. “The opening of our office in Moscow completes our presence in all of the BRIC economies and we anticipate significant demand for our formula of success-based contingency recruitment.
