Charlotte, NC-based HARTZ Search has assisted in the recruitment of Dawn Zell Wright as the new chief human resources officer of LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA.

Ms. Wright joins LCMC Health with a proven track record of aligning operations strategy with business goals, developing leaders, and driving significant, sustainable organizational improvements. Her experience includes designing, creating, building, and implementing high-functioning, consistent, centralized, agile human resources services and teams. Ms. Wright’s approach leverages best practices and standardizations to deliver best-in-class solutions, positioning organizations to create incredible employee experiences, lead the market as a best place to work, and realize sustainable growth with financial excellence, according to LCMC Health.
Ms. Wright brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles. She joined CHRISTUS Health in November 2021 as system vice president of human resources operations. Prior to that, Ms. Wright served as vice president of human resources for the Northcentral Region of Pennsylvania at UPMC and director of human resources for CommonSpirit Health’s Catholic Health Initiatives Texas Division. Her HR expertise is complemented by her background as an attorney, where she received numerous accolades for her work as a litigator and defense attorney specializing in minority rights issues.

An Advocate for Employees
In her new position with LCMC Health, Ms. Wright will be an advocate for employees at the senior leadership table, the voice of the organization when interfacing with employees, a solid strategic business and tactical partner to the senior leadership team, an executive leader for the human resources team, an effective ambassador for the organization in creating the brand as the employer of choice, and an advisor and confidential sounding board to executives in the organization. Ms. Wright will report directly to Maurice Lagarde, LCMC Health’s chief operating officer.
