Hanover Search Group Names Head of U.S. Office

May 25, 2012 – London-based Hanover Search Group has named Tom Carter as managing director in charge of its U.S. office. In this role, he is charged with leveraging Hanover's financial services relationships. Prior to joining Hanover, Mr. Carter spent six years managing search firm LeaderFinder Consulting with a special focus on risk, finance, compliance and underwriting roles across financial services sectors. Previously he led the global chief security officer practice at Gow & Partners. James Emmett, co-founder of Hanover Search Group and managing director of the Hanover Search Actuarial & Risk Business, said: “We have been planning for quite some time to build up a U.S. presence to meet client demand. We've spent more than a year getting to know Tom and feel that he's a good fit with our nimble culture, and also he has the depth within our core functions and markets to provide the level of service that our clients expect from us.” Established in 1996, Hanover Search Group is an international search firm focused on the financial services industry.
