Google Head of HR Joins Evolv Board

January 4, 2011 – Evolv, a provider of science-based, on-demand talent matching and intelligence solutions, has added Laszlo Bock, global head of human resources of Google, to its board of directors. Mr. Bock also serves on the advisory board of Catalyst, a nonprofit corporate membership research and advisory organization geared towards changing workplaces. Under Mr. Bock's leadership, Google has grown from 3,000 to over 23,000 employees, while also being named the Best Company to Work for in America by Fortune magazine. Mr. Bock has also testified before Congress on immigration reform and labor issues, provided counsel to the Obama transition team, the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board and the Office of Personnel Management and been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and the Today Show. “Laszlo is a transformational executive, a luminary in human resources thought leadership,” said Max Simkoff, Evolv's CEO. “Having Google's first and only head of human resources join Evolv's board will help us broaden our vision for improving the lives of people around the world through scientifically-based job-matching that improves both employer and employee satisfaction.”
