Epsen Fuller Completes Search fo MTDA

December 17, 2009 – Executive search firm Epsen Fuller/IMD International Search Group has placed David Gan, M.D., as executive director and head of drug safety at Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Development America, Inc. (MTDA). Dr. Gan was most recently the head of global signal detection and safety data management with Bristol-Myers Squibb. “The leadership, deep understanding and track record of success in the field that Dr. Gan brings will provide MTDA the expertise to orchestrate existing initiatives and the strategic guidance required on future drug development programs,” said John Gilbert, client partner of Epsen Fuller/IMD who conducted the search from the firm’s New Jersey office. MTDA is a drug development pipeline in several therapeutic areas, including nephrology, cardiovascular and central nervous system.
