Cornerstone Search Associates Launches Service to Assist Companies Seeking Funding

November 11, 2020 – Cornerstone Search, a partner to software / SAAS firms for the past 25 years, has launched Cornerstone Venture Capital Partners. The new platform “was set up to help our emerging software companies land needed funding, bridge loans or debit equity to extend rounds via our network of venture capital and private equity firms,” said founder Rich Rosen.

“Our goal is to assist companies in need of capital to grow and expand their business and making introductions to major global VCs as well as regional or niche funding sources,” he said. “Of course, if it’s the right opportunity we will make a personal investment ourselves.”

Cornerstone Venture Capital Partners works with pre-revenue companies to series C software companies. It does not act as an investment firm but serves more as a conduit to make introductions to the investment community that start-up companies may not otherwise have the ability or access to do themselves. “So much great tech goes under simply because they don’t have connections to the funding community,” said Mr. Rosen.

According to Mr. Rosen, it is now more important than ever for companies to have access to financial assistance in order to accelerate growth plans. “The investment community still has tremendous capital at its finger tips that they need to invest,” Mr. Rosen said. This new platform, he added, is all about leapfrogging the competition to get seen first. “There are thousands of investment ideas,” said Mr. Rosen. “We assist in getting the right companies to look at your offering and plan.”

COVID-19’s Effect

“With all of the changes we face in 2020 and with COVID-19 hitting companies hard, we kept hearing about our series A and B company clients struggling to find capital or to even get a bridge loan,” said Mr. Rosen. “Funding issues became more and more a part of our conversation and we soon realized this would be a great way to assist some of our clients in their growth plans and to become more of a strategic partner in their expansion.”
