December 12, 2011 – Global executive search firm Egon Zehnder International has appointed Dick Patton as leader of its U.S. consumer practice group. Mr. Patton joins Egon Zehnder after a successful career as a general manager and marketer with The Coca-Cola Company where he was a GM over a beverage business in North and South America, and managed several well known brands: Coca-Cola, Sprite, Nestea, Fresca and Tab. He previously held various positions in sales, business development and marketing at Frito-Lay, Inc. "We are excited about Dick leading the U.S. consumer practice group. While he has depth across all functions in this sector, he has particular expertise in marketing. He co-founded the firm's growing global chief marketing officer practice, a critical function for consumer companies, and understands the pressures and talent skills needed at the senior levels in this important sector," said Greig Schneider, co-leader of Egon Zehnder U.S.A. Egon Zehnder’s consumer practice group recruits and develops top talent leadership teams for the consumer products, retail, sports, new media, and hospitality industries.
