Egon Zehnder Leading CFO Search for Diageo
July 16, 2015 – Egon Zehnder has been retained by Diageo to lead its search for a new chief financial officer. Current CFO, Deirdre Mahlan, has been assigned to take over Diageo’s North American business, once a successor is found. According to sources, Diageo is looking for external candidates to fill the role, a move not typical for the company, which has previously groomed top managers from within.
Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with a wide collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, beer and wine. These brands include Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, J&B, Windsor and Buchanan’s whiskies, Smirnoff, Ciroc and Ketel One vodkas, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Guinness.
