June 5, 2014 – Egon Zehnder has integrated three of its industry sub-practices into a newly formed global Media, Entertainment & Sports (MES) practice that will focus on executive level search and succession planning, leadership assessment and development, as well as board leadership. The MES practice group is expected to have close links to the firm's global technology and communications practices' digital group. "Over the last decade, we have witnessed the media and lifestyle entertainment landscapes change dramatically — as channels and platforms for experiencing content have both converged and splintered via the application and user adoption of technology," said Henry Topping, Zehnder's New York-based MES global practice leader. "Content and delivery methods have spurred tremendous adjacencies for talent once cordoned as print, broadcast, digital or even technological.” Founded in 1964, Egon Zehnder has 425 consultants, operating from 68 offices in 41 countries. The firm provides senior-level executive search, director search, board consulting, management appraisal, executive talent management and executive leadership development and integration services.
