DMC Partners Names Global Head of Fixed Income

April 9, 2020 – DMC Partners, a New York City-headquartered advisory and executive search firm specializing in financial services, has expanded with the addition of Jane Thomas as partner and global head of fixed income.

With this addition, DMC Partners will further expand its coverage across fixed income markets. “Having Jane on board is a game changer for our firm and will enable us to better serve our clients globally,” said David McCormack, founder and chief executive officer of DMC Partners.

Ms. Thomas has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining DMC Partners, she was a partner at Westwood where she specialized in senior-level searches in global markets and asset management, primarily covering the fixed income space. She started her search career as a managing director and co-head of the global fixed income team at Sheffield Haworth. She also spent seven years with Merrill Lynch, starting her career in the Derivative Group covering FX, rates and credit. Ms. Thomas graduated from Boston University.

Joining Ms. Thomas is Alison Seanor, a seasoned recruiter for hedge funds and private equity clients with deep knowledge and expertise within FICC and equities. “Alison has an excellent reputation and will further strengthen our already established equity long short business,” Mr. McCormack said. “These hires demonstrate our commitment to our clients and solidify our position as the preeminent equities and FICC buy- and sell-side search firm.”

Late last year, DMC Partners also hired Jennifer Padovani as a partner from Baystreet Advisors. She joined the firm in a senior business development capacity focusing mainly on equities. “Jen is a class act and very well connected across Wall Street and beyond,” said Mr. McCormack. “Her relationships, tenacity and background made her a perfect cultural fit for our firm.”

Ms. Padovani graduated from the University of Albany, SUNY, and spent 20 years at Goldman Sachs in equity derivatives and relationship management before retiring in 2014. She came into the search industry with Sage Advisors.
