DLC Inc. Acquires Beacon Resources

August 28, 2014 – Los Angeles-based DLC Inc. has acquired Beacon Resources LLC, a finance and accounting staffing and executive search firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Both firms will retain their individual brand identities under the banner of DLC Group and have offices in Orange County; San Diego; Los Angeles; San Francisco; and Chicago. The combined company will have more than 250 consultants. CEO Mike Kelly and his management team will continue to lead Beacon. “This is a very significant and strategic acquisition for our firm,” said Tom Sweeney, CEO of DLC. “The acquisition will clearly afford both parties access to new channels of distribution and the opportunity to provide more complete solutions to our current and future clients.” DLC began as an executive recruiting firm in 1993 and now provides finance and accounting services to businesses.
