DirectEmployers Revamps Veterans.jobs

May 25, 2012 – DirectEmployers Association, a non-profit consortium of over 600 leading U.S. employers, has revamped its Veterans.jobs, a website that helps transitioning military men and women find employment in the civilian workforce, including a more robust search and better user experience.Searching for a specific Military Occupation Code (MOC) or Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) on Veterans.jobs has also been improved to help create more relevant job results. “Further cultivating and developing veterans outreach programs for member companies has always been a goal of DirectEmployers. By implementing a better search functionality onVeterans.jobs, we’ve created a better user experience for job seekers and sponsorship opportunities for employers committed to showing their dedication to hiring veterans,” said Bill Warren, executive director of DirectEmployers Association.
