DHR Acquires Gundersen Partners

May 24, 2010 – DHR International has acquired global search firm Gundersen Partners. The firm is well known for its marketing focus and functional expertise across the consumer, financial services, industrial and nonprofit industries. Steve Gundersen, founder of Gundersen Partners, joins DHR as executive vice president and leader of the firm’s media & entertainment practice. Mr. Gundersen will split his time between DHR’s New York and Los Angles offices. In addition, Peter Fitzpatrick joins DHR as executive vice president and leader of the consumer practice group for North America. Mr. Fitzpatrick was previously president and COO of Gundersen and will be sharing his time between the New York and Chicago offices. Additionally, 10 former Gundersen employees will join DHR’s team: Sarah Thewlis joins DHR’s London office as managing director and EVP; Robert Graham comes to the firm’s London office as EVP; Bob Baker joins DHR’s Atlanta office as EVP; Dwain Celistan becomes a member of the Chicago office as EVP; Helene De Vries joins the New York office as EVP; Steve Prisco comes to the New York office as a principal; John Shaw and Christine Thomas are being added to the London office as principals; and Michelle Chapman and Edwina Purcell become administrative assistants in London.
