CTPartners Global Technology Head Departs For Heidrick & Struggles

April 2, 2015 – CTPartners managing partner Paul J. Groce has left the company to join Heidrick & Struggles in New York. At CTPartners Mr. Groce served as head of the company’s global CIO/technology & operations practice, where he was widely recognized as a CIO/CTO industry expert. He joined CTPartners as a partner and founding member of the firms’ financial services practice 10 years ago. Mr. Groce has placed C-suite technology, data, shared services and operations executives in key positions across all industries. A CIO/technology operations search practice typically provides horizontal specialization in the areas of chief information officer, chief technology officer, chief data officer, application development, IT operations and other information technology (IT) team human capital needs. As a result of this highly integrated platform, Mr. Groce’s practice specialization was largely seen as instrumental in the growth of CTPartners, where his CIO work portfolio included more than 400 financial services, retail, life sciences, supply chain/distribution, manufacturing, technology and professional services CIO/CTO and related senior roles ranging from private equity-backed portfolio company CIOs to major multinationals. Prior to CTPartners, Mr. Groce spent five years with Heidrick & Struggles’ CIO practice in New York.
