CTParnters Adds Former Heidrick & Struggles Recruiters

August 16, 2010 – CTPartners has added Michael Thompson as partner in its professional services and technology, media and telecom practice and Jeff W. Dodson as a partner based in Chicago. A search executive with more than 15 years experience, Mr. Thompson will focus on building client relationships in both sectors. He joins CTPartners from Heidrick & Struggles where he was managing partner for technology and professional services across Asia, as well as managing partner in the Shanghai office. Previously, he was one of the original partners opening the Austin office of Heidrick to focus on the venture capital/high tech digital growth markets during the late 1990s. Mr. Dodson primary focus will include active involvement in the life sciences, healthcare and consumer practices. Additionally, he will work to develop CTPartners' Midwest presence. With over 20 years of experience in industry and executive search, Mr. Dodson has completed senior-level search, assessment and advisory assignments for several multinational clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, consumer and not-for-profit areas. He also comes to CTPartners from Heidrick & Struggles where he was a North America and Latin America sector leader for the firm's life sciences practice and a core member of the global board consulting practice, as well as managing partner of the firm's U.S. pharmaceutical practice. Prior to that, he served as Chicago office leader and led the U.S. life sciences practice for Egon Zehnder International.
