Crist|Kolder Posts Largest Gains Among Top 25 Recruiters

April 1, 2013 – Hinsdale, IL-based Crist/Kolder Associates, the recruitment boutique specializing in CFO and small-to-mid-cap CEO assignments, posted the largest revenue gain in HSZ Media’s survey of the top 25 recruiting firms in its U.S./Americas ranking for 2012. Crist/Kolder reported a 50 percent spike in business, seeing fee revenue jump from $10 million to $15 million — making it the 15th largest ranked firm. CEO Peter Crist said that his strategy of building a horizontal focus to the market has given his firm a significant edge in a crowded marketplace. “We avoid the clutter that gets in the way for most firms,” he said. Crist/Kolder completed 50 assignments in 2012 including the CFO posts at Safeway, AOL and Weight Watchers, and the chief executive spots at A.M. Castle, Career Education Corp. and The Brinks Company. Crist/Kolder celebrates its 10th year in business this year.
