Cook Associates Recruits CIO for WellMark

November 4, 2011 – Chicago-based Cook Associates Executive Search has placed Tim Peterson as executive vice president, chief information officer at Wellmark, Inc. The search was led by Kevin Parker. Mr. Peterson joins Wellmark from OptumHealth Care Solutions (a part of United Health Group) where he served as CIO. Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a mutual insurance company owned by its policy holders. Founded in 1961, Cook Associates is a retained executive search firm with offices in Chicago, Boston, Des Moines, Los Angeles, New York and Richmond.
