Cook Associates Places CEO at Zmags

June 13, 2011 – Chicago-based Cook Associates Executive Search has placed Michael Schreck as CEO of Zmags. Mr. Schreck is well-known in venture capital circles as a co-founder of several prominent start-ups including m-Qube, Upromise and SmartBargains/Rue La La. He also served as a general partner at General Catalyst, a leading venture capital firm. The search was co-led by John Barrett and Jeff Leopold, managing directors with the firm’s Boston office. Zmags delivers an on-demand, rich media merchandising and analytics platform to 3,000 of the world’s most progressive brands and retailers.
