Cook Associates’ John Kins To Retire

January 27, 2015 – Cook Associates has said that its owner and chairman, John Kins, is retiring after being active in the search business since the mid-1960’s. During his tenure, Cook Associates grew to become a top-ranked search firm with offices in Chicago, New York, Boston, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Mr. Kins started a sister division, Cook M&A Advisory Services, a leading buy side M&A advisory firm. Since it's inception Cook Associates has been dedicated to providing quality services to clients ranging from early-stage, venture-funded and private equity backed companies to the Fortune 100. Industry specialties included consumer/retail, industrial, technology, business services, education, CFO and board services. The firm will remain a member of global consortium InterSearch.
