Cook Associates Fills Positions for Gopher Resource

April 27, 2012 – Chicago-based Cook Associates Executive Search has placed Robert Bennett as vice president of operations and James Kane as VP of continuous improvement at Gopher Resource. The searches were led by CEO Mary Kier. Mr. Bennett formerly served as VP of manufacturing with Stoffel Seals Corporation. Mr. Kane joins Gopher Resource from Pacal Industries, LLC where he served most recently as VP of operations. Founded in 1946, Gopher Resource is a technologically-advanced secondary lead processor that recycles lead-acid batteries and other lead bearing materials, with a majority of the refined lead being used in automotive and industrial batteries.
