CareerBuilder Acquires CareerSite.biz

March 18, 2010 – CareerBuilder has acquired CareerSite.biz, parent of three successful career-related operations in the U.K. Founded in 2001, CareerSite.biz operates two online recruitment niche sites focusing on nursing and railway workers as well as a successful virtual career fair business. As part of the deal, StaffNurse.com and VirtualFair.co.uk will become part of the CareerBuilder family. The new properties will retain their existing brand names, but will be powered by CareerBuilder technology.
