Caliber Associates Recruits General Counsel for INOVIO Pharmaceuticals
September 21, 2021 – San Diego, CA- based Caliber Associates recently placed Robert Crotty as the new executive vice president and general counsel of INOVIO Pharmaceuticals. Steve Hochberg, CEO and founder of Caliber Associates, led the assignment. “Rob brings significant industry experience leading the legal function of several successful biotech companies,” said Mr. Hochberg.
Mr. Crotty joins INOVIO from Nabriva Therapeutics, where he served as general counsel and secretary. Before that, he worked as the vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and secretary for Vernalis Therapeutics Inc. Mr. Crotty has a broad legal skill-set with experience in corporate governance, securities filings, financing, business development, corporate law and commercial compliance. Earlier, he worked for Dendreon Corp., NPS Pharmaceuticals and ImClone Systems Inc. Prior to his biopharmaceutical industry experience, he worked at two law firms, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Norton Rose Fulbright.
