Bullhorn Appoints Chief Customer Officer

June 24, 2025 – Recruiting software provider Bullhorn has named Mitesh Ashar as chief customer officer. In this strategic position, Mr. Ashar will lead Bullhorn’s global customer experience organization, driving innovation and service across all customer touchpoints. “Mitesh pushed us to make the product better, because he cared deeply about how technology supports real business goals,” said Art Papas, founder and CEO. “That perspective has never left him, and it’s one of the many reasons he’s the ideal leader for our customer organization.”

Mr. Ashar began his relationship with Bullhorn as an executive at an IT staffing firm. He was one of the company’s earliest customers. During his implementation in 2006 and throughout his time as a customer, he worked closely with Bullhorn’s leadership, including Mr. Papas and president and COO Matt Fischer, providing feedback that directly influenced product development. Initially, Mr. Ashar led customer implementations, before moving into top product leadership roles where he helped shape Bullhorn’s product portfolio.

“I was struck deeply by Bullhorn’s culture and the huge opportunity the company had. Nearly 20 years later, I still feel that way,” said Mr. Ashar. “Ashar has remained deeply connected to customers and the challenges they face,” Bullhorn said. “He brings a sharp understanding of what customers are trying to achieve with technology and how to align Bullhorn’s teams to help them get there.”

In his new role as CCO, Mr. Ashar will have an even greater impact by leading an organization responsible for equipping customers with the strategy, support, and tools to adopt, implement, and scale Bullhorn’s technology solutions. His appointment reflects Bullhorn’s expanded commitment to customer success, as well as the opportunity afforded by Bullhorn Amplify and the need for customers to integrate AI into their businesses.

“Our customers are facing an enormous change in the coming years driven by artificial intelligence,” said Mr. Ashar. “It has the potential to be one of the most important technological advancements the staffing industry has ever seen. Our customers are going to need help navigating this change, and Mitesh is the perfect leader for this moment.”

“I’m honored to take on this role,” said Mr. Ashar. “Bullhorn has always been about empowering staffing firms to grow. I’ve been on both sides — first as a customer, now as a leader — and I believe this is the most exciting moment yet. We’re going to help our customers lead the industry into the future.”

Paul Sorensen, CEO of Partners Personnel, added: “Mitesh has always been a trusted partner — someone who understands both our challenges and opportunities. He’s exactly who you want in your corner when you’re navigating a big change.”

Harnessing the Power of AI

Earlier this year, Bullhorn extended its partnership with talent solutions company The Adecco Group. This will expand Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud across new markets and infuse AI across its entire recruitment workflow. The Adecco Group aims to reimagine delivery processes and embed AI agents into its workflow. The Adecco Group and Bullhorn partnership began in 2016, with 1,300 recruiters using Bullhorn ATS and Bullhorn Automation solutions, and in the eight years since, the partnership has grown to 23,000 recruiters. Under the new agreement, the number of Adecco Group recruiters using Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud and AI will increase by 20 percent, with new deployment in Germany, Italy, and its small and medium markets worldwide — a move designed to transform the client experience and boost profitability.

Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud, an AI-first, enterprise-grade solution built on the Salesforce platform, provides Adecco Group with the scalability needed to unify data from across the company’s 40 disparate systems. Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud offers a single source of truth that enables recruiters to fill jobs faster, engage job seekers more efficiently, and create a platform that unlocks the value of AI and automation.

“We are proud to strengthen our partnership with Bullhorn,” said Caroline Basyn, the Adecco Group chief digital and IT officer. “We are committed to leveraging advanced AI and digital tools to enhance frontline systems and drive profitable growth at the Adecco Group. Our transformation is focused on equipping all our business units with cutting-edge technology. With Bullhorn as our partner, we can achieve operational efficiency, recruiter productivity, and profitability now, on a tech stack built for the future.”
