Bryant Group Retained by HonorHealth Foundation for Two Assignments

May 29, 2025 – Dallas-based executive search and talent development firm Bryant Group has been retained by HonorHealth Foundation to lead in its searches for a senior vice president of finance and senior vice president of communications and donor relations. Both searches are led by Sarah Hempen, vice president of search.

Reporting directly to the president and CEO, the SVP of finance will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and board of directors. They will collaborate directly with the president to develop, implement and monitor the annual budget, maintaining optimal financial health; manage donation inflows and financial reporting systems, guaranteeing accurate recording of revenue in alignment with donor restrictions; oversee comprehensive grants administration and planned gift management, ensuring proper stewardship of donor contributions; manage a team of financial professionals charged with ensuring accurate records and transaction for HonorHealth Foundation.

The SVP will maintain relationships with external banking institutions, portfolio managers and audit teams while serving as the financial liaison to the healthcare system’s financial community.

The ideal candidate is an established and collaborative financial leader with deep experience leading financial strategy within a nonprofit institution. The SVP must be a collaborative and inspirational leader, a strategic thinker who thrives in complex and fast-paced environments and a values-driven professional with unimpeachable ethics.

Communications and Donor Relations Search

Also reporting directly to the president and CEO and serving as a key member of the senior executive team, the SVP of communications and donor relations will develop comprehensive communications plans across multiple platforms while creating world-class donor experiences through engaging stewardship initiatives.

The successful candidate will set the vision and voice for all communications in support of fundraising and donor stewardship, as well as Foundation-sponsored special events. The SVP will craft and implement powerful communications and advancement plans that aligns with the Foundation’s mission and strategic goals.

Bryant Group also notes that the ideal candidate is a confident, creative communicator who is as strategic as they are passionate. They will be a natural collaborator and relationship builder with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. Those applying must thrive within a mission-driven environment bringing heart, vision and professionalism to everything they do. A bachelor’s degree is required, as well as at least five years of progressive communications or marketing experience, preferably within a healthcare or nonprofit organization. Experience leading communications for a major fundraising campaign is preferred.
