Bryant Group Retained by Cure HHT to Fill Senior Role

February 10, 2025 – Dallas-based executive search and talent development firm Bryant Group has been selected to recruit the vice president of operations for Cure HHT. Sarah Hempen, vice president of search, is leading the assignment. “We’re seeking an exceptional leader who is passionate about making a profound impact and driving meaningful change for those affected by HHT,” said Marianne Clancy, Cure HHT executive director. “Cure HHT is at a pivotal moment in advancing our mission to improve awareness, increasing access and standards of care, and driving research for this rare disease. The vice president of operations will play a transformative role in shaping the future of our organization and extending our reach to the families and individuals globally who need us most.”

Reporting directly to the executive director, the VP will work closely with other members of the leadership team as well as the finance chair of the board and consultants for finance and management, directly managing all business and operational functions essential for scaling Cure HHT. The VP of operations will have four main areas of responsibility: strategic leadership and organizational growth; operational and financial management; leadership, team development and culture; and community engagement and marketing oversight.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in nonprofit operations, with a deep understanding of both financial and program management and a data-driven approach to strategic planning, decision-making and execution. A proven track record in guiding an entrepreneurial organization through significant growth phases, successfully scaling operations and infrastructure during key inflection points in its maturity lifecycle is needed. There is a strong preference for the VP to be located in the northeast and this position will require regular travel.

Founded in 1991, CureHHT is focused on advocating for patients and families, raising awareness, guiding and funding critical research, creating lasting collaborations and encouraging scientists to work on new treatments for Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, the second most common genetic bleeding disorder in the U.S.
