Bryant Group Recruits CFO for The Weingart Center

September 19, 2024 – Following a nationwide search, Dallas-based executive search and talent development firm Bryant Group has placed Tim Groff as the new chief financial officer for The Weingart Center. The search was led by firm president Chris Bingley. “Bryant Group worked to understand the needs of the organization throughout the recruitment process, resulting in a hire that will both complement current leadership and build a critical area of Weingart for future success,” said senator Kevin Murray, president and CEO of Weingart. “We continue to uphold our mission to empower and transform lives by delivering interim and permanent supportive housing solutions coupled with comprehensive wraparound services that are designed to break the cycle of homelessness.”

With deep experience in finance, accounting and real estate development, Mr. Groff has worked across both publicly traded restaurant brands and major private hotel management firms in North America. His blend of technology and operations expertise drives the creation of efficient, accurate business systems. Mr. Groff’s integration of PMS, POS, banking, accounting and reporting systems has resulted in significantly improved financial and performance metrics.
Previously, Mr. Groff served as CFO for Wolff Urban Management where he oversaw their real estate and hospitality operations. Prior to that, he worked at Grill Concepts, a national, publicly traded restaurant operator.
In his new position, Mr. Groff will be charged with maintaining the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting areas for the center, its subsidiaries and affiliated organizations. He will prepare regular financial reports and analyses, prepare budgets and assist the president and CEO with long- and short-range goals. Mr. Groff will oversee all financial aspects of property purchases and construction projects.
