Boyden Seeking CEO for Creative BC

September 15, 2026 – Boyden has been retained by Creative BC in Vancouver, British Columbia to lead in its search for a new CEO. Reporting to the board of directors, the CEO will provide strategic and operational leadership to an organization that sits at the center of British Columbia’s creative economy. The CEO will lead the execution of Creative BC’s mandate while serving as a trusted advisor to government, a respected partner to industry, and an influential ambassador for British Columbia’s creative sector at home and internationally.

Responsible for organizational performance, financial stewardship, stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of programs that support thousands of creators and businesses across the province, the CEO will help shape the future of one of North America’s most dynamic creative jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, values-driven executive with a demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder organizations through growth and change. They bring strategic vision, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the credibility to engage confidently with government, boards, industry leaders, creators, and diverse communities. Combining strong business and financial acumen with political judgment and sound decision-making, the successful leader will balance long-term strategy with operational excellence while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement. Experience in the creative, cultural, economic development, technology, or public sectors will be highly valued, together with a demonstrated commitment to reconciliation, equity, and sustainable economic growth.

Kerry’s Place Autism Services Search

Boyden also recently recruited Normandie Wragg as the new president and CEO of Kerry’s Place Autism Services in Ontario. The appointment follows the previously announced retirement of CEO Susan VanDeVelde-Coke at the end of June. The search was led by partners Jim Stonehouse and Pamela Colquhoun, and Kathy Luu, senior associate. “Normandie is a highly accomplished, values-driven executive with a strong record of leading organizations through growth, change and complexity,” said Jan Stewart, chair of the board of directors, Kerry’s Place.

“She brings strategic depth, operational discipline, and a deep commitment to person-centered service,” added Paula Allen, vice chair and incoming chair of the board of directors. “The board is confident that Normandie is the right leader to guide Kerry’s Place into its next chapter and to build on the organization’s legacy of excellence, innovation and impact for the Autistic community.”

Kerry’s Place Autism Services is a Canadian non-profit organization that provides support programs and services for autistic children, youth, adults, and their families across Ontario. Founded in 1974, the organization offers a range of services including applied behavior analysis, employment support, transitional services, respite care, supported living, family counseling, and community-based programs.
