Boyden Opens Office in Cairo

April 6, 2010 – Boyden has opened a new office in Cairo, Egypt, as part of the firm’s North Africa expansion. The firm has appointed managing partner Francesca d’Arcangeli to lead its Cairo and North Africa operations. Boyden Cairo will provide a client service for the influx of multinationals expanding in Egypt and North Africa, the growth of Egypt’s national companies and the increasing demand for Egyptian executives to be placed in the Gulf region. Industry specific demand is expected in the fast moving consumer goods, telecommunications and infrastructure sectors in markets that include Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. “Cairo is an important addition to our expanding Middle East and North Africa (MENA) client service which includes offices in Dubai, Johannesburg and other growing markets,” said Chris Clarke, president and CEO of Boyden World Corporation. “Egypt and its neighbouring countries are increasingly becoming strategic markets for executive search as the overall region is maturing rapidly and building multinational investment. We’re seeing an increasing demand for cross border assignments from our clients in the Gulf region and the growing regional sophistication of Egypt’s executives makes Cairo an excellent hub for expanding Boyden’s North Africa operations.” Ms. d’Arcangeli previously served as COO at the ARTOC Group for investment and development, where she was responsible for the management and growth of the Group’s operating companies in the MENA Region. Founded in 1946, Boyden is an executive search firm with more than 70 offices in 40 countries.
