Boyden Adds to Zurich Office

September 30, 2010 – Boyden has named Armin Meier as a managing director in the firm’s Zurich office. Mr. Meier brings extensive experience as a senior executive in the information technology and travel and transportation sectors. He will be taking over management responsibility from Dr. Max Schnopp, who will continue to play an active role as a managing partner of the firm. Previously, Mr. Meier held several management positions in leading global and Swiss IT, travel and transportation companies. Most recently he served as chief commercial officer of Travelport, a global distribution system for the travel industry. “Armin’s deep experience guiding our clients with strategic hiring decisions will be a strong asset for Boyden,” said Chris Clarke, president and CEO of Boyden World Corporation. “In addition, his experience with non-executive boards will also provide a valuable perspective for our global team.” Earlier this year, Rainer Faistauer joined Boyden Zurich as a partner. Mr. Faistauer previously was country manager and vice chairman the Korn/Ferry International in Switzerland. Boyden is an executive search firm with more than 70 offices in over 40 countries.
