June 10, 2009 – Bio Career Center, an online jobs board and careers site for life science professionals, has added UCLA, Brown, NYU and Georgetown as members of its jobs board, joining 15 other major universities. Developed with the Stanford Medical School director of career services, www.biocareercenter.com is constructed for P.h.D.s, M.D.s and other post-graduates who are looking for efficient ways to manage their careers. The service is free to students and alumni of member institutions. Bio Career Center’s institution consortium consists of Stanford, Berkeley, Brown, Caltech, Emory, Georgetown, M.D. Anderson, Michigan State, New York University, Scripps Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California at San Francisco, University of Colorado Denver, University of Miami, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, University of Pennsylvania, University of Washington, Vanderbilt and Weill Cornell.
