BIO Career Center Adds to Network

November 29, 2009 – www.biocareercenter.com, an online job board and careers site for life science professionals, has added Northwestern and Columbia University as members of its job board, joining 28 other major life science training Institutions. The job board is specifically designed for post-graduates in the life sciences. Bio Career Center's institution consortium consists of UCLA, Brown, NYU, Georgetown, Stanford, Berkeley, Brown, Caltech, Emory, Georgetown, M.D. Anderson, Michigan State, New York University, Scripps Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California at San Francisco, University of Colorado Denver, University of Miami, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, University of Pennsylvania, University of Washington, Vanderbilt and Weill Cornell. “Our postdocs have been very excited about it,” said Kathryn Espiritu, Columbia University's director of Post Doctoral Affairs. “We have a diverse group of postdocs and I think that Bio Career Center will provide some great career advisement.”
