November 26, 2024 – Executive recruitment firm August Leadership has expanded with the addition of Wolfgang Heinrich as partner in Thailand. Mr. Heinrich is a seasoned executive and business economist with over 30 years of management experience, specializing in the direct selling industry and global market expansion. His track record spans over 300 search assignments across 20 countries, and his industry expertise covers consumer goods, FMCG, automotive, defense, direct selling (B2B/B2C), retail, transport, equipment & tools, and biotechnology. Mr. Heinrich set up numerous subsidiaries in Asia, located and appointed strategic sales partners for growth champions and played a key role in strengthening their brands and position in the region. He has experience with global know-how transfer, detecting local business practices, formulation of workable growth strategies, including global account management, and winning over and retaining local talent.

Mr. Tannous is an advisor with over two decades of experience in placing legal counsel in major corporations and law firms across diverse industries, including biotech, pharmaceuticals, high-tech, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, fashion, entertainment, consumer goods, manufacturing, software, and private equity.

Before joining August Leadership in June to spearhead the firm’s legal offerings, Mr. Tannous was previously with Major, Lindsey & Africa where, for 13 years, he leveraged his relationships with senior management and partners at law firms across the U.S. to enhance the success of individual lawyers’ goals, as well as firms’ business and legal objectives, including expanding the legal offerings and sectors that they serve. In the law firm arena, he collaborates closely with firm leaders to drive growth and strategic initiatives, facilitating group transitions and spearheading the establishment of new offices in the U.S., Europe, and Asia for AmLaw 100 and 200 clients.
In September, August Leadership added two new specialized practices: media & entertainment and legal. Leading these new practices are partners Marina Paganucci, John Zaffarano, and Glenn Tannous.
Ms. Paganucci and Mr. Zaffarano have joined the firm to lead the media & entertainment practice which spans leadership and talent within film, TV, streaming, VFX, VR/AR, video games, eSports, live events, sports, and gaming. “Our media and entertainment practice is strategically located in Los Angeles, the epicenter of the entertainment world,” said Ms. Paganucci. “With this practice, we are leveraging the regional footprint of August Leadership to serve the high-growth markets such as Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific.”
Before joining August Leadership, Ms. Paganucci was the global head of talent acquisition for the world’s largest entertainment marketing agency, facilitating leadership hires, M&A-driven expansion, and global office openings. Mr. Zaffarano began as executive director in international film marketing at Fox Filmed Entertainment and held leadership roles at top Hollywood agencies, including Picture Production Company International, Cimarron Group, Trailer Park Group, Mob Scene, and Amazon MGM Studios. Mr. Tannous brings over 13 years of experience from Major, Lindsey & Africa and more than two decades of placing legal counsel within top corporations and law firms.
