Athene Interims Formed to Place Interim Execs

March 26, 2010 – Athene Communications has teamed up with Russam GMS, a provider of interim management services, to launch Athene Interims, specializing in the interim placement of marketing and communications professionals. The new company was created by founding partners Richard Astle of Athene Communications and Jason Atkinson of Russam GMS. Mr. Astle was previously corporate affairs director for AMP Pearl, a financial services group. Mr. Atkinson has 16 years of international sales and marketing experience across both the financial services and fashion retailing sectors. “At Athene Interims, we all have a strong background in senior communications roles and as such we understand the demands and challenges facing our clients,” said Mr. Astle. “We are able to have an intelligent discussion with a potential client about the best needs for their vacancy, and we know that people need an interim who can be a part of the team from day one.”
