Armstrong Craven Appoints Industrial Practice Lead

April 14, 2014 – Search consultancy Armstrong Craven has named Mark Doig as industrial practice lead. Mr. Doig will be responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the Industrial practice, developing client relationships – both existing and new – as well as providing strong leadership and clear strategic goals for the multi-national team. The move comes six months after the completion of a management buyout from former parent company Work Group plc. “Mark impressed us with his extensive experience of delivering global senior search assignments for large blue chip organizations – and in particular, his understanding of challenging sectors such as oil and gas, engineering and defense,” said Matthew Mellor, CEO. “While we have been active in these markets for some time, Mark’s appointment will enable us to consolidate our position and drive further expansion.” Mr. Doig brings more than 15 years search experience, most recently as head of talent acquisition at Alexander Mann Solutions. With offices in Manchester and London, Armstrong Craven provides a combination of search and HR intelligence services to help organizations attract, retain and develop talent.
