Amrop Announces Global Expansion

March 6, 2011 – Global executive search firm Amrop has expanded its global team with nine new partners in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Following his early experience in renewable energy, Francesco Zucchelli worked as a consultant working on engineering and supply chain projects, focusing on business transformation and improvement, innovation and network design. Most recently, he worked at IBM Global Business Services. Oana Ciornei is managing partner of Amrop in Romania, and oversees the strategic direction and operations of the firm. She began her executive search career in 2006, when she joined the affiliate office of Korn/Ferry in Romania as COO and partner. Marius Precu serves as senior consultant for the life sciences, automotive & industrial practices in Bucharest, Romania. Mr. Precu was previously country manager with SpenglerFox, an international executive search company. Iulia Pietruschevici Radau is senior consultant focusing on financial services and professional services practices in Bucharest. Before joining Amrop, she spent 14 years in the banking and pharmaceutical sectors in Romania, holding sales management and board level positions (CFO and business development & strategy director). Rebeca de Rojas is an experienced banker who worked for 25 years with Chase Manhattan Bank and JPMorgan Chase as executive recruitment manager and director of private banking international in Panama. Jaana Toppari joins Amrop in Finland with more than 12 years’ experience in executive search. Previously, she ran her own executive search business and was a senior consultant for a leading Finnish human resources consultancy. Working in the executive search industry since 1997, Stefan Ottelin was previously a partner and consultant for a local recruitment consulting company in Finland, focusing on clients in life sciences and healthcare, consumer products, retail and wholesale, real estate, logistics and transportation. Mr. Ottelin is a member of Amrop's global life sciences and consumer & retail practices and will be joining the Helsinki office. Alvaro Collas joins Amrop in Lima, Peru with 15 years of experience in finance, strategy, business development and project management. He has held leadership positions at Citibank, PwC, Oracle and Pluspetrol, with experience working in Latin America and Canada. Tim Hewat is a partner at Amrop Knightsbridge with over 24 years of management experience leading marketing and sales teams in a number of industries including technology, financial services and commercial real estate. He focuses on building Amrop’s technology practice in Canada, as well as working with clients in other major market segments.
